Verse 1 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, for He is the Almighty, All-Wise. Verse 2 To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death. And He is Most Capable of everything. Verse 3 He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate. And He is, of all things, Knowing. Verse 4 It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it, what descends from the sky and what ascends therein. And He is with you wherever you are. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. Verse 5 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah all matters are returned. Verse 6 He merges night into day and day into night. And He knows well what is in the hearts. Verse 7 Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend from what He has entrusted you with. For those who believe and spend, theirs is a great reward. Verse 8 And why should you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and He has already taken your covenant—if you are truly believers? Verse 9 It is He who sends down clear revelations to His servant to bring you out of darkness into light. And indeed Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to you. Verse 10 And why should you not spend in the cause of Allah, while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those among you who spent and fought before the victory are not equal to those who did so afterwards. Yet Allah has promised the best reward to all. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Surah Al-Waqi'ah (56:39-74) : **Verse 39:** "A large company of the former peoples" **Verse 40:** "And a large company of the later peoples." **Verse 41:** "And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?" **Verse 42:** "[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water" **Verse 43:** "And a shade of black smoke," **Verse 44:** "Neither cool nor beneficial." **Verse 45:** "Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence," **Verse 46:** "And they used to persist in the great violation," **Verse 47:** "And they used to say, 'When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?'" **Verse 48:** "'And our forefathers [as well]?'" **Verse 49:** "Say, [O Muhammad], 'Indeed, the former and the later peoples'" **Verse 50:** "Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." **Verse 51:** "Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers," **Verse 52:** "Will be eating from trees of zaqqum" **Verse 53:** "And filling with it your bellies" **Verse 54:** "And drinking on top of it from scalding water" **Verse 55:** "And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels." **Verse 56:** "That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense." **Verse 57:** "We have created you, so why do you not believe?" **Verse 58:** "Have you seen that which you emit?" **Verse 59:** "Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?" **Verse 60:** "We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone" **Verse 61:** "In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know." **Verse 62:** "And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?" **Verse 63:** "And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?" **Verse 64:** "Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?" **Verse 65:** "If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder," **Verse 66:** "'Indeed, we are [now] in debt;" **Verse 67:** "Rather, we have been deprived.'" **Verse 68:** "And have you seen the water that you drink?" **Verse 69:** "Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?" **Verse 70:** "If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?" **Verse 71:** "And have you seen the fire that you ignite?" **Verse 72:** "Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?" **Verse 73:** "We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers," **Verse 74:** "So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great." These verses continue to emphasize the power and majesty of Allah, reminding humans of their dependence on divine creation and the inevitability of the Day of Judgment.

**1. When the Event (the Day of Resurrection) befalls,** **2. There is no denying its befalling.** **3. It will bring low (some) and raise (others).** **4. When the earth will be shaken with a severe shaking.** **5. And the mountains will be crushed to powder,** **6. Becoming scattered dust.** **7. And you will be three kinds:** **8. Those on the Right Hand (i.e., the Blessed).** **9. Those on the Left Hand (i.e., the Wretched).** **10. And those foremost (in Faith) will be foremost (in Paradise).** **11. These are they who will be brought near (to Allah).** **12. In Gardens of Delight.** **13. A number of people from those of old,** **14. And a few from those of later times.** **15. On thrones woven with gold and precious stones,** **16. Reclining on them, facing each other.** **17. There will circulate among them [servant] boys especially for them,** **18. With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine.** **19. No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated.** **20. And fruit of what they select,** **21. And the meat of fowl from whatever they desire.** **22. And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,** **23. The likenesses of pearls well-protected.** **24. As reward for what they used to do.** **25. They will not hear therein any ill speech or commission of sin—** **26. Only a saying: "Peace, peace."** **27. The companions of the right—what are the companions of the right?** **28. [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed,** **29. And [banana] trees layered [with fruit],** **30. And shade extended,** **31. And water flowing constantly,** **32. And fruit in abundance,** **33. Whose season is not limited, nor are they out of reach.** **34. And upon beds raised high.** **35. Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation.** **36. And made them virgins,** **37. Devoted to their husbands and of equal age.** **38. For the companions of the right hand.**

Surah Ar-Rahman (Surah 55), ayat 46-78: **46.** "But for him who fears the position of his Lord are two gardens." **47.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **48.** "In them both are two springs, gushing forth." **49.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **50.** "In them is every kind of fruit in pairs." **51.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **52.** "They will recline on green cushions and rich carpets." **53.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **54.** "In them the two springs will gush forth." **55.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **56.** "Therein are fruits, date-palms and pomegranates." **57.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **58.** "In them are the good and beautiful ones." **59.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **60.** "And for him who fears the position of his Lord are two gardens." **61.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **62.** "In them both are two springs, gushing forth." **63.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **64.** "In them is every kind of fruit in pairs." **65.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **66.** "They will recline on green cushions and rich carpets." **67.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **68.** "In them the two springs will gush forth." **69.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **70.** "Therein are fruits, date-palms and pomegranates." **71.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **72.** "In them are the good and beautiful ones." **73.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **74.** "And for him who fears the position of his Lord are two gardens." **75.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **76.** "In them both are two springs, gushing forth." **77.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" **78.** "In them is every kind of fruit in pairs." **79.** "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" These verses from Surah Ar-Rahman repeatedly highlight the blessings and favors of Allah and encourage reflection on His generosity and mercy.

Ar Rahman 26-45 26. Everyone upon it is perishing. 27. But will remain the Presence of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor. 28. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 29. Everyone in the heavens and the earth asks Him. Every day He is managing. 30. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 31. We will attend to you, O prominent two. 32. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 33. O society of jinn and humans! If you can pass through the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and pass. But you will not pass except with authorization. 34. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 35. You will be bombarded with flares of fire and brass, and you will not succeed. 36. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 37. When the sky splits apart, and becomes rose, like paint. 38. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 39. On that Day, no human and no jinn will be asked about his sins. 40. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 41. The guilty will be recognized by their marks; they will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 42. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 43. This is Hell that the guilty denied. 44. They circulate between it and between a seething bath. 45. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. 1. The Compassionate. 2. Has taught the Quran. 3. He created man. 4. And taught him clear expression. 5. The sun and the moon move according to plan. 6. And the stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 7. And the sky, He raised; and He set up the balance. 8. So do not transgress in the balance. 9. But maintain the weights with justice, and do not violate the balance. 10. And the earth; He set up for the creatures. 11. In it are fruits, and palms in clusters. 12. And grains in the blades, and fragrant plants. 13. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 14. He created man from hard clay, like bricks. 15. And created the jinn from a fusion of fire. 16. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 17. Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests. 18. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 19. He merged the two seas, converging together. 20. Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun. 21. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 22. From them emerge pearls and coral. 23. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? 24. His are the ships, raised above the sea like landmarks. 25. So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?

41. The warnings also came to the people of Pharaoh. 42. They rejected Our signs, all of them, so We seized them—the seizure of an Almighty Omnipotent. 43. Are your unbelievers better than all those? Or do you have immunity in the scriptures? 44. Or do they say, “We are united, and we will be victorious”? 45. The multitude will be defeated, and they will turn their backs. 46. The Hour is their appointed time—the Hour is more disastrous, and most bitter. 47. The wicked are in confusion and madness. 48. The Day when they are dragged upon their faces into the Fire: “Taste the touch of Saqar.” 49. Everything We created is precisely measured. 50. And Our command is but once, like the twinkling of an eye. 51. We have destroyed your likes. Is there anyone who would ponder? 52. Everything they have done is in the Books. 53. Everything, small or large, is written down. 54. The righteous will be amidst gardens and rivers. 55. In an assembly of virtue, in the presence of an Omnipotent King.

23. Thamood rejected the warnings. 24. They said, “Are we to follow one of us, a human being? We would then go astray, and end up in Hell. 25. Was the message given to him, out of all of us? In fact, he is a wicked liar.” 26. They will know tomorrow who the wicked liar is. 27. We are sending the she-camel as a test for them; so watch them and be patient. 28. And inform them that the water is to be shared between them; each share of drink made available. 29. But they called their friend, and he dared, and he slaughtered. 30. So how were My punishment and My warnings? 31. We sent against them a single Scream, and they became like crushed hay. 32. We made the Quran easy to understand. Is there anyone who would understand? 33. The people of Lot rejected the warnings. 34. We unleashed upon them a shower of stones, except for the family of Lot; We rescued them at dawn. 35. A blessing from Us. Thus We reward the thankful. 36. He had warned them of Our onslaught, but they dismissed the warnings. 37. They even lusted for his guest, so We obliterated their eyes. “So taste My punishment and My warnings.” 38. Early morning brought upon them enduring punishment. 39. So taste My punishment and My warnings. 40. We made the Quran easy to memorize. Is there anyone who would memorize?
