Verse 1 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, for He is the Almighty, All-Wise.
Verse 2 To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death. And He is Most Capable of everything.
Verse 3 He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate. And He is, of all things, Knowing.
Verse 4 It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it, what descends from the sky and what ascends therein. And He is with you wherever you are. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
Verse 5 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah all matters are returned.
Verse 6 He merges night into day and day into night. And He knows well what is in the hearts.
Verse 7 Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend from what He has entrusted you with. For those who believe and spend, theirs is a great reward.
Verse 8 And why should you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and He has already taken your covenant—if you are truly believers?
Verse 9 It is He who sends down clear revelations to His servant to bring you out of darkness into light. And indeed Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to you.
Verse 10 And why should you not spend in the cause of Allah, while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those among you who spent and fought before the victory are not equal to those who did so afterwards. Yet Allah has promised the best reward to all. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
